Be a Friend to Main Street Mount Joy!

Are you excited about the changes that are occurring in your downtown?  We certainly are!  Perhaps you have visited a new business that has come to town in the last several years or enjoyed seeing a longtime business in the corridor expand and grow.  Maybe you appreciate the visible improvements occurring along the corridor such as the new, unique flower planters or noticing the property investment being made by property owners to enhance their Main Street façade.  Perhaps you anxiously await the details of some larger anchor projects in the corridor like fire rebuild effort or the potential that lies in buildings like the former consignment shop.  And it is likely that you and your family enjoy one or more downtown community events throughout the year such as Winterfest, Taste of Mount Joy, Fall Pet Parade, the Farmers Market, or Fourth Fridays each month.

Why is all of this activity occurring?  Because of people like you who make it happen with their time, dedication, and financial support.  However, we need more community members to play a role and make a difference.  Just like an apple and its core, the healthier the downtown, the healthier the entire community.  Help continue the progress.  Your downtown is worth your time and investment.  You no longer have to point to another town to illustrate what a great downtown is, you only need to look around right here in Mount Joy.  It can’t happen without the community's continual support.
