Fire and Ice is an event to showcase and market your downtown. Whether your business is downtown or in the surrounding area, reserve your spot on the street for your ice carving and join us for a weekend of fun.

Main Street Mount Joy appreciates all of the time, effort, and financial support invested over the past year in building the vitality of Downtown Mount Joy for the benefit of the Mount Joy Community. We hope those that volunteered &/or financially supported MSMJ will attend this special evening as we share our gratitute. Brief Presentation of Special Awards at 6:30 pm.

A fun day, complete with dinner, on the greens with door prizes and contests. This is a fundraiser for MSMJ. This year the outing will take place at Four Seasons Golf Course, 949 Church Street, Landisville. Registration fees are $75/person or $300/foursome. Registration begins at 10:30 - 11:45 am, Noon tee time (shotgun format), and dinner at 5 pm. Awards are presented immediately following dinner.

11 AM – 2:30 PM; A showcase of nearly 200 cars of all classes with more than 40 awards. A highlight of the show includes more than a dozen area restaurants selling their finest food. *This event closes Main St from Barbara to New Haven St. and Marietta Ave to Henry Street from 8 am–3 pm.

A howling good time with our beloved pets. Dress your pet (& you!) in your most creative costumes and join us for a parade, along with fun-family activities, refreshments, awards, pet-related organizations, businesses, rescues & more in the War Memorial Park off Marietta Ave. The rain date is TBD. There is a nominal registration fee to be a part of the contest & parade (details on form below), but there is no cost to spectators.

4 – 7 PM *Closes Main St. from Marietta to Market 2 – 8 pm
2012 marks the 14th Annual Winterfest Celebration, held on Main Street from Delta Street to Marietta Avenue. Winterfest is Mount Joy’s official Holiday Kickoff with live music, family-fun activities, & over 25 local community groups, civic organizations, churches and businesses lining Main Street giving away free items, information about their organization or business, holding fundraisers, like bake sales, contests, and games. Come with an appetite as Main Street will feature over a dozen area restaurants who will be offering food for sale throughout the evening. Winterfest is a great place to bring children as there are lots of special activities just for them, including visiting Santa & Mrs. Claus, ornament painting, a clown twisting balloons, a “train ride” and more. The evening concludes with caroling & lighting of the tree.
