The goal of the Organization Committee is to provide effective centralized management of Main Street Mount Joy, raise awareness, and increase involvement and support of the program.

Main Street Mount Joy is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  The organization is sustained by grants, private contributions from businesses & individuals, and event proceeds.

Volunteer Recruitment

Be involved with Main Street Mount Joy!  From serving on a planning committee to helping at an event or even a specific once & done task – there is a lot of ways to participate.  The organization committee looks to recruit new volunteers.

Volunteer Recognition

We appreciate all of our volunteers.  One way we express our appreciation is at our Annual Reception.  It is a great time with the entire Main Street family, from businesses to property owners to members of every committee and event.

Community Partners & Communication

Main Street Mount Joy partners with many community organizations.  We also work very hard to keep businesses, residents, and visitors informed of the many things that are happening in the Downtown.

We need to spread the word! Downtown revitalization is so important to our community’s economic development. We want Mount Joy to be a destination of choice for businesses, residents, and visitors.
